I had a really interesting week filled with some great conversations and interviews that I just had to share. These three different perspectives all linked together so nicely and I wanted to share the takeaways with all of you.

I had a really interesting week filled with some great conversations and interviews that I just had to share. These three different perspectives all linked together so nicely and I wanted to share the takeaways with all of you.

First, I came across a TikTok video of an interview with Gavin Rubinstein, one of Australia's top selling real estate agents. He talked about the key to his success, which was consistency, tenacity, and staying connected. He said that early in his career, as an associate, he constantly followed up and kept in touch with people, so when the time was right, he was the obvious choice for those looking to sell. He focused on building his network first. He was playing the long game.

Next, I had a chat with the CEO of one of the businesses I consult with. We discussed how so many sales professionals today look to the leaders within their industry for a blueprint. But most of the time, they talk about their current rhythms, schedules and processes. And when salespeople hear that advice, they can't relate as they don't yet have the support teams, the budget, or scale to achieve greatness. As a result, they feel an element of instant failure and think "I can't do this." or as he put it... "Instant feeling of Failure."

Finally, I read an excerpt from Ryan Levesque's book 'Choose' where he outlines that there is a tremendous benefit in those that wish to improve, not focus on what their idols are doing now, but rather what the idols did when they were in the position that the searcher finds themselves now.

So, the takeaway I have for those looking to achieve more is not to get so focused on the shiny lights of success now, but rather look at the processes, the systems, and the methodology that pave the path to success. It's all about taking small steps and focusing on what you can do now to improve.

Success leaves clues, so replicate those and enjoy the journey...

Have a great weekend
